The New Form of Motion Inspired by the Reflex of the Arowana

Arowana is a four-wheeled, futuristic electric motorcycle designed to give a new direction to the concept of urban mobility.

Ambitious not only in its appearance but also in the riding experience it offers, this vehicle is not merely a transportation solution but also a design manifesto. Drawing inspiration from the flawless motion found in nature, its aesthetics from fluid forms, and its spirit from speed and intelligence, Arowana was designed not just to be ridden, but to be felt, noticed, and remembered. As 11-13 Design Studio, for this project we designed not just an identity, but a holistic brand language that simultaneously embodies form, performance, and emotion.

Inspiration: Nature’s Reflex

The name Arowana comes from the Arowana fish, which moves through water with an almost invisible grace. Known for its speed, fluidity, and agility in changing direction—thanks to both its physical form and reflexive movements—this fish directly inspired the design philosophy of the electric motorcycle.

Like the creature it is inspired by, Arowana’s body features aerodynamic lines that reduce resistance, an intuitive formal integrity, and a striking simplicity. This insight from nature gave the brand an identity rooted not only in aesthetics but also in engineering.

The brand identity is not just a graphic system; it is a multi-layered structure that carries Arowana’s design DNA, performance promise, and communication power all at once.

Logo placements on the vehicle, physical product applications, launch visuals, CGI scenes and animations, social media language, and visual content systems—all advanced with the same aesthetic coherence and strategic clarity. The fluidity of the design was seamlessly felt in the brand’s visual world as well. Here, speed became not just a technical value but an emotional component at the heart of the narrative. The brand didn’t just leave a mark—it set a direction.

Arowana is not just an electric motorcycle; it was designed as a character capable of forming a mental and emotional connection with its user. With its form, it speaks to the wind; with its identity, to the city; and with its energy, to the future. The experience it offers is not merely a ride but a feeling of being noticed, embraced, and belonging. In this project, we created not a transportation object, but a character with intelligence, reflex, and memory.
